So you’ve found your way here — maybe you stumbled across my work on Instagram, maybe a friend sent you my name, or maybe you’ve been quietly following along for a while and finally hit “send” on that inquiry form. First of all, let me just say: I’m so honored you’re here! Whether you’re in the thick of wedding planning or just starting to dream about the day, I want this experience to feel like more than checking a box. Because your story deserves more than that. And your photographer should be someone you can trust with a heart to document your day in a way that feels true to you.
Here’s a little peek behind the scenes of what happens after you inquire — no pressure, no mystery, just a warm invitation to see how this all works.
When you fill out my inquiry form, you’ll notice I ask a few intentional questions. This isn’t just about your date and venue — I want to know what matters to you. What you’re dreaming of. What makes your story yours. The more you share, the more I can begin to envision how to tell your story beautifully and authentically.
Once I receive your inquiry, I’ll send over a warm response with a link to my pricing guide, details about packages, and a blog post to help you figure out how much coverage you actually need. This is your moment to breathe, browse, and see what feels like a good fit — no pressure, just helpful information to support your decision.
If it feels right, we can hop on a call so I can learn more about your day and answer any questions you have. I love this part — it’s where I get to hear how you met, what you’re planning, and what parts of the day matter most to you. Plus, it’s a brief time we can sit and chat and get to know each other a bit better.
Once you’re ready to move forward, I’ll send over your contract and invoice. A non-refundable 50% retainer officially secures your date. After that, you’re officially on my calendar, and the fun begins.
After booking, you’ll receive a wedding guide packed with tips, timelines, and planning advice. We’ll also schedule your engagement session (if applicable) and start building a timeline that supports a relaxed, joyful, and story-driven day. I’ll also encourage you to create a mood board on Pinterest filled with inspo of what you are dreaming up for your wedding. This helps me get an even bigger picture of what theme and feel you are wanting to go for.
You’re not just another inquiry in my inbox. You’re someone with a story worth documenting with care and intentionality. Whether we work together or not, I want your photography experience to feel relaxed, intentional, joyful, and FUN! So ask the questions. Take your time. And know that I’m cheering for you, always.
Curious if we’d be a good fit?
