CELEBRATING TWO AT GRAYTON BEACH
There’s something so sweet about this age – equal parts curiosity, independence, and giggles that come in waves (pun intended). This little beach session was all about celebrating two in the most relaxed, joy-filled way – barefoot in the sand, sun dipping low, and a little one who lit up the whole shoreline.
Grayton Beach in the 30A area of Florida gave us the most peaceful backdrop, with soft dunes and golden light that felt just right for a milestone like this. Whether she was chasing the breeze, holding onto mama’s hand, or twirling in her birthday dress, every moment was pure childhood joy.
It’s not about posing perfectly – it’s about letting littles be who they are. We took our time, followed her lead, and gave plenty of space for exploring, playing, and snuggling in between. It’s those in-between moments that end up being the ones families hold onto the most.
One of my favorite things about photographing in 30A is how every beach town has its own personality – but all of them share the kind of beauty that feels like paradise. Grayton Beach is laid-back and full of charm, with wide open sand and nature that feels untouched. Just down the road, you’ve got Rosemary Beach with its clean lines and timeless architecture, Seaside with all the color and character, and Alys Beach with whitewashed walls that feels like you’re sitting in the middle of beautiful Santorini.
Whether you’re celebrating a milestone like a birthday or simply wanting to document your family or your love during vacation, 30A is one of those places that makes photos feel like a memory you want to relive.
